DJ SQUID

I’m obsessed with the 80s, 90s and Soul music type of guy!!! Here are some of my favs: Of-course Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Maria Carey, Gap Band, New Edition and all those guys on Soul train, Top of the pops and MtV, The music our parents listen to and we grew up with, it always feels like a being in a time capsule and taking a trip-down memory lane. I could go on and on and on….I am a DJ after all and like to talk!!!!

Cool notes- special nites, Mel and Kim (that’s the way it is), Reminds me of clubs like Florida 2000 or F2, F1, Visions and Carnivore, the days when people would dance till 6am, the djs used to focus on blending the music to a perfection and grinding was not so cool back then, just dancing to appreciate a woman’s body…….there I go again!!!

I’m a sci-fi geek, but the kind of Inception, Elysium kind of movies where technology, fiction and imagination is warped with reality.

Hmm… I haven’t been up-to much tv watching of late, I guess Im the kind of guy when you talk about empire, I would give you a blank stare, the last time I binge watched any program was Breaking bad series and 24, then the other episode with Kevin spacey what is it called again….

Of-course , soccer-Arsenal, Barcelona, used to like Knicks but they suck so bad, as for American football I just watch the teams and their histories are so dynamic I can’t just get a grasp of it..

You wouldn’t believe it but it was an event where I was DJing at a 3 year-old birthday party. The crowd was fantastic.

Midweek melodies make me express myself in unique kind of way. Every time I’m more of myself is when I get the best reviews, so it has embolden me to play the kind of music, I loved growing up as kid, and the reality that many of us shared the same kind of taste.

Of-course hustling, going to school you wouldn’t believe it but I’m a Graduate Assistant in my other life, I also love playing soccer and going to the gym,.

Well living in the country side as a farmer and coaching some youth team soccer.

Whatever I have written above is my biggest fantasy.

Anyone who is humble, despite great achievements, I don’t like people who are full of themselves, so probably Lionel Messi would be a great choice.

Hmm… let me see, well it has been my home for the last few years, the people and convenience of getting around.

The weather in winter, the entertainment scene, isn’t so vibrant as it should be due to restrictive laws that clubs close at 3am, and the demographics making it difficult to pack up a simple night club.

There is always another way…..
